Trip to Mangapwani

Our volunteer Anna had to say Goodbye to her student’s club after almost 6 month. She wanted to celebrate it with a tour to a nice place. The youth had to decide where they want to go. They chose Mangapwani – because they were thinking they can learn there a bit about Zanzibarian history.

It was a very nice trip and they saw a lot like the coral caves, the slave chambers and some bunkers of the second world war. The Sheha of Mangapwani guided them and told them a lot about the history. In the end everyone went to a beach where they had a huge picnic.
